Introduction to Goldsmiths' learning programme
Artsmark works in partnership with Goldsmiths, University of London, to deliver your core Artsmark training modules and support. Our partnership aims to cultivate dynamic, creative learning environments and empower school communities to be agents of change, fostering creativity, collaboration and critical reflection within and beyond their schools.
This page outlines Goldsmiths’ learning programme, which includes both online and in-person Artsmark training modules that are available for all Artsmark settings, regardless of context or setting type.
Artsmark training modules
Your Artsmark is changing. This page is for schools currently on an Artsmark journey. Registrations are paused from September 2026 ahead of the new Artsmark Award launch in Spring 2027. Find out more.
All schools were emailed in September 2026 with tailored information about what this means for your current journey. You may also find our FAQs helpful.
Module 2 and Statement of Commitment
Work through the Self-Assessment - do this with your colleagues and senior leaders to help identify your setting’s strengths and areas you’d like to develop on your Artsmark journey. Refer to the Artsmark Framework when completing this exercise.
Book Module 2 - Making Change for attendance during the Autumn term. Here you will learn how to use the findings from your Self-Assessment to plan and carry out action research that strengthens arts, culture and creativity in your learning community.
Once you have completed Module 2, you will then submit your Statement of Commitment by the 8th March 2027. This marks the first formal submission on your Artsmark journey.
You will then move to our new Artsmark programme for your final submission when you are ready (within two years of your Statement of Commitment submission). Your Statement of Commitment will still be considered as part of the new Artsmark Award Assessment.
Module 3 and Statement of Impact
You will need to attend Module 3 - Impact of Change in order to submit your Statement of Impact. During this session you’ll learn how to critically examine and analyse evidence and data collected during your Artsmark journey. Once you have completed Module 3, you will then submit your Statement of Impact, or equivalent, between 12 and 24 months after submitting your Statement of Commitment to complete your Artsmark journey.
Download our Self-Assessment guidance and carry out the exercises to prepare for your Artsmark journey.
