Intro

Virtual schools play a vital role in advocating for, and providing creative opportunities, for care-experienced children and young people. Artsmark is flexible and adaptable, helping virtual schools develop and celebrate their commitment to arts, culture, and creativity.

There are lots of benefits for virtual schools in engaging with Artsmark. Creative activities help children and young people develop emotional literacy, communication skills, self-esteem and build a sense of belonging. Artsmark broadens children’s cultural horizons and can help a virtual school position the arts strategically as part of a young person’s cultural and educational entitlement.

Guidance and resources

Check out our Guidance Resource to understand how Artsmark can best serve virtual schools. Our downloadable toolkit is aimed at supporting all virtual schools to develop their arts offer and the Staffordshire virtual school case study offers insight into their Artsmark journey.
